Gt7 cockpit view closer than gts?

Is the cockpit view too close for anyone else? Not game breaking but in GTS you could see your side mirrors in most cars, with adjustment all the way back. GT7 i get like 20% of it in view now. And look past it when i look left or right. Hoping its a bug. One the cars i was in didnt work at all, only zoomed in and not out.
And im using a wheel so i dont get the tilt view from the sticks.
