I was going to watch my grandbaby girl (5) this weekend while my daughter works. Yesterday my daughter told me granddaughter has lice. I told daughter I would be unable to babysit unless granddaughter is lice-free (mostly because I have 3 teenage kids at home and don't want them to contact lice.) Daughter struggles and works a lot and very hard. Childcare is hard for her as she works difficult hours and just the lack of affordable but good childcare available. am I wrong? I feel so bad about not being able to support her, but I know that lice is not something I want to deal with at home.
