Just something to think about.

  • If Sakura-Parvati (who dresses conservatively and actually gains more clothing in each ascensions) was any more revealing then it would definitely bring troubles to the game company and go against what she represents (devoted love, unlike Ishtar). Dark Sakura-Durga/Kali (if any) would likely to go through the same route (aka little to no sexualization).

  • Apart from being in unique class (and broken Divine Spirit), putting Buddha in the game without proper lore would spark rage from Buddhism. Part of the reason that there is unlikely to be any religion-related gods (that're still largely worshiped today) in the game (aka no Shiva or Jesus, but Illya has the latter's role symbolically anyway [see Note]). God's reincarnations as human (e.g. Rama) are allowed though since the reincarnations, for all purpose, are human.

  • Meltlilith definitely wouldn't be released if her C-string was not altered into a bikini, and I'm actually more surprised that Rajan Zed didn't file complaint against her for using Goddess Saraswati as Noble Phantasm.

  • Nasu's original plan was to gave Amaterasu naked apron in CCC but it couldn't make it past for obvious reason (Ethical Wall), which is why Tamamo Cat is wearing one in her final ascension instead of her.

Note: Illya ,Iri ,Kiritsugu, and Kirei's story have a lot of religious symbolism, and Illya's role and story more or less draw a lot of inspiration from Jesus.
