Crime in Grand Junction

I'm thinking of moving to GJ and I was wondering what the crime is like there? I e watched a lot of videos of people saying they love it there and then other videos say the crime is ridiculous. Can anyone give me an honest answer as to how the crime really is? What areas are good to live in and what suburbs/areas should I stay away from? Is it a good place to move to? I work from home and I'm moving from Texas. I don't know if that makes a difference but yeah.
