Hi, I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't desperate so, here goes. A while back I got seriously injured I pretty much died in an accident. I won't be specific because it was rather well known but, because of it I developed a opioid addiction and it's hell. Lost my job, car, friends, family, almost homeless etc. It's pretty much worse than my accident. I've tried detoxing at home several times but it's almost impossible due to the physical withdrawals. It's really hard getting/affording comfort meds like gabapentin and Xanax to get me through it and I refuse to go on Suboxone or methadone, just trading addictions at that point. Anyone know of any local resources or advice? Thanks in advance. 😌
