Title mistake: So Done*

Ok. So Iā€™m all open to people and friends who wants to discuss about grad application because it is literally whatā€™s on our mind 24/7.

But I am starting to lose my patience around people who are asking for advices that are just so basic. Like you can literally find the info on your programā€™s page. For example, I have this ā€œfriendā€ who barely contacts me anytime else just spamming my inbox about how to email professors for reference letters.

By spamming, I literally mean sending me texts at 2am, asking me to write the email for her because she doesnā€™t feel confident enough. When I told her Iā€™m sleeping and reference her to online sources where thereā€™s step by step information on how to write a professional email, she was like ā€œthanks for (not) helping.ā€ Man. This was like after I edited her SoP, CV, and multiple emails to POI.

People really need to grow up. I was glad I blocked her today.

This is just my little rant because I have been dealing with too many toxic people during this time of the year.
