Hello all, Actually, I have two questions but I will introduce myself first.
About me: I am currently a senior at a university in the US with biochemistry and molecular biology majors. Regarding graduate schools in Canada, I am aiming for York University and the University of British Columbia, MS. in Environmental Sciences in both. My GPA is < 3.0 so I am hoping my CV/resume and research can help me make it up. Questions: 1. Do graduate schools in Canada require GRE? Many graduate students in my lab say yes but most admission websites say they only need TOEFL score (since English is not my native language) 2. What should you do when you found a professor you want to work for? I know that I should email the professor and ask to work in his/her lab but do I need to have a research proposal or just join an ongoing project in the lab?
Thank you in advance.
