I have an Asus Prime Z390-P motherboard that is lighting up, but won’t boot up anymore when I jump it.
Things I’ve tried:
-Checking all connections (unplugging and replugging all power cords and RAM, CPU, etc.)
-Swapping out my riser
-PSU jump test. PSU fan turns on during test and seems fine (and is clearly powering the motherboard because the motherboard lights turn on fine)
As mentioned, I jump this motherboard by lightly touching a screwdriver to the pins. Has worked just fine. This motherboard is only about 5 months old. I’ve checked all the pins and they are intact.
I am at a loss for where the point of failure is.
Hardware:
Asus Prime Z390-P AMD Radeon Vega 56 (1 GPU) AAAWave PCI-E Riser V009s Intel Celeron G4930 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 8GB Gigabyte SSD 120GB EVGA 850 GA PSU
Software: HiveOS (don’t think this is the issue, since motherboard won’t boot up).
Any ideas?
