GPD Win Max Linux screen fix?

After being inspired by a recent post, I decided to put Chrome OS on my 2020 Max, but there is some serious screen issues here. This is what it looks like.
I'm told it's an issue with the Edid/distro and that ChromeOS is based off Gentoo rather than Debian, but I'm not sure what the solution is here.
