Let me start off by saying... I'm one of the lucky ones. Only 1-2 mild flare ups a year. The big attacks only a handful of times over last 10 year since my first. All big toes or ankle. So instead of allo I just have a bottle of colchicine for the big ones and some big Naproxen as needed.
But looking back over the last 10 years since my first attack I see a patter emerging with the big and painful attacks. Biggest stressfull events/periods of time of my last 10 years coincides with my attacks. I know stress can makes our inflammatory response worse.
But typically my only "vice" anymore is soda if I've been painful free for awhile, then eventually I get a tingle and switch back to 100% water and it goes away, but when my mom passed or any other time when I'm under a lot of stress....notice tender toe as you fall asleep one night, boom! almost have to crawl to bathroom for moring pee and hot water soak cause ankle and toe are throbbing.
Anyways I didn't know if anyone else has noticed stress as "MAJOR or KEY factor for an attack even more so the diet. When life is good or even ok I can actually cheat and eat bratwurst and soda and things with less reactions or consequence. (Obviously not over do it)
