I'm completely serious. This episode lines up perfectly with the Bran endgame theories, and even follows my own outline that I posted three days ago very closely.
The sweet part of the "bittersweet" ending will not be a fucking democracy. There is nothing sweet about that. No one gives a shit about the stupid throne or the civilians of Westeros.
The sweet part will be when we learn that Dany didn't actually go mad and didn't play the part of Bran's puppet.
Every event that he has manipulated has led to this: the burning of King's Landing. The moment before Drogon goes mad we see the same scene of his shadow over KL that has played so frequently in Bran's visions. Jojen told him this would end with fire.
I choose to believe that his goal was to end with Dany actually going Mad Queen and she chose not to because she is good. I will believe this until I'm proven wrong.
The show that has subverted expectations at every opportunity has one last act of grand deception and it has you all fooled.
