I’m beginning the 5th time of hearing it, this time with lyrics. Rita is an interesting turn at the end of the verse but that intro and outro chord progression is sick. They managed to fuse neo soul style chords with 808’s and modern day trap-hop “horse type”beats (horse mask) key. Not to forget the clear punk/rock influences on the chorus and progressive delivery of verses by all artist on the track (2-D included). Another thing I noticed is that the “Humanz” choir is not on the track and it makes me wonder how this song would sound live! This was truly a great moment in music history-Gorillaz showing us all once again...Music is a language that needs no barriers!!!
