Go Pro Hero 9 - Scheduled Capture - Fixed?

I just bought a used hero 9 and tried the schedule capture for this morning but it never turned on/captured anything.
Anyone else have this issue? I just updated firmware and wondering if it will work now.
Also is this something GoPro can fix if doesn’t work?
