At the moment I have this setup:
Sheet 1 - Meeting A
student 1 - attended true/false (tick box)
student 2 - attended true/false (tick box)
student 3 - attended true/false (tick box)
Sheet 1 - Meeting B
student 1 - attended true/false (tick box)
student 2 - attended true/false (tick box)
student 3 - attended true/false (tick box)
Sheet 2 - All student information
student 1 - attended true/false (tick box)
student 2 - attended true/false (tick box)
student 3 - attended true/false (tick box)
I'm currently using the IMPORTRANGE function to literally just copy the status of the tick box =IMPORTRANGE("https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/SHEET-1-URL", "Meeting A!E4") So if I mark student 1 as attended meeting A, it works fine. But I can only set the formula on Sheet 2 to import one cell (in this case, cell E4 from Sheet 1, Meeting A tab). Is there a way to have the tick box in Sheet 2 marked true if the student is marked attended on any of the meetings?
So maybe a student misses the first meeting A, but attends meeting B. So meeting A tick box shows false, meeting B tick box shows true = should be marked true on Sheet 2 as attended.
Hope that makes sense. Thank you for reading and for any input.
