Formula help: Comparing two columns for a difference of an exact amount?
Post Body

I'm doing bookkeeping for a small business. In column A I have approx 1000 rows of transaction amounts. e.g. $1579.70, $343.22, etc. In column B I have approx 1000 rows of deposit amounts in the same format (rows not related between A and B). There is an error of $3.40 that exists between one of the transaction amounts in A and one of the deposit amounts in B. I need to find the $3.40 needle in the haystack.

So I'm curious if there is a formula that can compare all of the data in A with all of the data in B and look for a $3.40 difference between some transaction amount (A) and some deposit amount (B). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
