Hi there! I downloaded a batch of photos taken by a photographer from a recent event where he uploaded them to Google Drive.
After I downloaded them from Google Drive, I tried uploading them to Google Photos but the pictures all upload in a random order and with their date set to the day I uploaded them, not the date the actual photos were taken!
I have tried everything I can think of. On my computer, all of the photos are in the correct order based on both time and on filename. I have manually batch edited the metadata of all of the photos to be the correct date that they were taken (August 1st) using Windows' Date Taken field in Properties. I have also downloaded the software ImBatch and edited the EXIF data for Date/Time, Date/Time Original, Date/Time Digitized, and GPS Date/Time Stamp. Even with all of these set to August 1st by the software, Google Photos STILL sets the "date" as today when I upload them.
Going through the 350 photos manually and putting them in the right order and the right date on Google Photos will take hours and hours so that doesn't seems like a viable option.
I have no idea what else to try, does anyone else know how to fix this? Thanks.
