Hello all, I recently purchased a very nice set of Edifier headphones and I have them linked via bluetooth to my Pixel 7 phone.
The only issue is that the skip button will not skip, and only activates Google Assistant. It works perfectly fine with every other device I have tried, so I am confident that it is not the headphones but the way my phone is interfacing with the headphones. I do not know how to screen record, but you can see that Spotify will attempt to skip the track but Google Assistant kind of interrupts it.
It is a "multifunction" button meaning that one press is pause/play, a double tap is skip, and a long press should activate the Assistant. Play and pause work, but any other way I press the button activates the assistant. The weird part is that the headphones were working as expected the first week or so I was using them with my phone, and I never changed any settings, so I have no idea what caused them to start doing this.
Does anyone have any solutions or workarounds to this? Thank you so much for any input. I am attaching the link to headphones manual if it is of any help. https://manuals.plus/edifier/w830nb-wireless-over-ear-headphones-with-active-noise-cancellation-manual
Thanks!
