Shoot it, shoe friends!

Thanks for your reply. Ideally about $200 - $250 a pair. I’ve also had a pair of crepe sole shoes which were comfortable, but again, nothing to do when the soles wear out. Which happens to be when the leather actually starts feeling good.
Any recommendations for a chukka or similar casual-ish boot/shoe with a comfortable sole? Newish to this, so forgive my ignorance or vocab. I’ve had Clark’s, they were ok, but interested in being able to resolve the shoe. Maybe a wedge sole? Or some other type of sole?
Also, I have a pair of weejun loafers where the leather is both the opposite of supple and the sole is traditional leather. Anyone make a loafer with a forgiving sole? My knees and back in my 40s sort of demand it these days.
Thanks in advance.

Nice. I had a pair of Danner hiking boots that went through like 5 years of a daily bike commute, hiking, and yard work. Had to let them go when the power washer I casually tried to use while doing the driveway ripped them apart. Haha. I’ll check it out.
