After uncountable days awaiting the return of her brother, resting after her stalemate with General Radahn and feeling the Scarlet Rot eat away at her flesh, Malenia is woken up from her slumber by an unfamiliar sight, someone has entered her resting grounds.

Observing as the intruder gets closer she fully awakens realizing the sight is of an unfamiliar warrior who may or may not have come all this way to end her, arming herself with her prosthetic arm and helmet she begins her assault on this unknown.

As the battle goes on and her defeat seems inevitable, this Tarnished does the last move to end this once and for all, asking to be her husband.

Spoilers/liberties: For Elden Ring players and as is explained in the script, liberties were taken for script sake and may include possible spoilers. Malenia's personality along with Miquella's Needle aren't game accurate and have been changed for fanfiction purposes.

Scarlet Rot: Malenia suffers from something she herself created and called Scarlet Rot, a disease that works similarly to leprosy and slowly eats away the flesh and twists its bearer/surroundings. And as such she has lost her right arm and both legs, replacing them with golden prosthetics, and also rotted away her womanhood as displayed in the image above. So if you have mixed feelings about this, there's your warning.

Obviously, I sound nothing like Malenia 😂 but I fell in love with her as I was reading up on Elden Ring lore in preparation for the gamer girlfriend audio last week. So when I found this beautiful script and portraying Malenia in such an endearing way, I wanted to give it a go!
