Notes about the Bene Gesserit in Dune: The Bene Gesserit are described as a secretive, religious order of women that exerts their political power and contol in order to bring about the birth of their chosen one, the Kwisatz Haderach. Sisters of the Bene Gesserit are known for their many skills and accomplishments, including The Voice (the ability to command someone to do something), the weirding way of combat (a deadly martial art style specific to the Bene Gesserit), Internal Organic-Chemical Control (the ability to turn any ingested poison into harmless compounds in the body), simulflow (a focused state of experiencing several threads of consciousness at once), and fertility control (which is incredibly important for their breeding program goals).
