You’re up late. I could see that your door was open a little from down the hall when I got out of the bathroom after my shower.

Do you mind if I come in and cuddle for a bit? My bed’s going to be kind of cold, but yours has you in it. And I’m feeling a bit lonely.

Thanks. I’ll just shut the door behind me. I don’t want mom and dad to get the wrong idea if they’re up. They already think we’re too close as it is. I don’t want them to walk by again in the middle of the night and see their two kids in bed together.

Or is it worse if I shut the door? Then they really might get the wrong idea. But theoretically, if I shut your door, they should just think that you’re asleep, and not with your little sister.

Now scoot over, mister. I get the spot on the bed you already warmed up. That, and I get you cuddling up against me as we watch tv.

I made the mistake of mentioning that we do this to my friends once. They didn’t understand. They said I was way too old to be doing this and that it was creepy. And that was before I turned eighteen too. Now that I’m an adult that really shouldn’t change anything. This isn’t inappropriate in any way. It’s just that we have this cool kind of relationship wherever as adults we can still share a bed and cuddle together. People always have to sexualize everything.

Sure, I guess it sounds like the opening to some incest porn thing. [laugh] Remember how we used to spend hours watching those kind of videos on the internet in kind of an ironic way, and to gross ourselves out. We’d make fun of the story and the acting and all that as I sat on your lap at your computer.

We should do that again sometime. But not right now, because it’s so comfortable here in bed with you. And so warm. After that shower, even the bathrobe wasn’t enough to keep me warm. But after taking it off to get into bed with you, I’m more than warm enough even with just these panties on...

This script was loosely inspired by a Facebook post I saw from the AITA post on Reddit about an adult brother and sister sharing a bed and how that freaked out her boyfriend when he came home unexpectedly. It was probably all very innocent, but in my head of course I was wondering what if it wasn't? What if a slightly similar situation started off seeming innocent to everyone, including the brother and sister, but as the story plays out it increasingly leads to more and more WTF? moments for the listener and you're wondering what other bit of weirdness from their past is going to pop up.
