After The Blend an odd illness takes over roughly 5% of the population causing bovine like characteristics in humans.
If anyone is found out they must leave their old lives and give back to humanity. Either by working and living on one of many dairy farms and becoming Holstein cattle or working as keepers to tend to their herd.
