So I've started NieR: Replicant and it just hits right in the feels like Automata did (which of course I'm going to replay after Replicant!). I love how the side quests, despite all the backtracking, help you develop a relationship to these regular NPCs. And just seeing what the world and environment looks like before the events of Automata blows my mind!!
A BIG thank you to u/GameQube2 and u/hecatescrossroad for the sequel script to the Catboy's Lament audio I did some time ago!!
