Hi hi, it's Fly, back with another monster love script. And it's the finale of Orc-tober everyone!
This has been a lot of fun, and I thank everyone who's read my scripts this month. I hope this is a good send off.
We follow a woman on a path of vengeance and the blacksmith who will give her the weapon to do it.
Notes: This has a scene where the listener and speaker are hunting and are attacked by a bear, who injures the speaker to the point he thinks he's dying, with a few follow up scenes involving treating/ referencing the injury. The hunting does reach a successful conclusion with the bear's death. If that is not your cup of tea, I advise you not to consume.
The binding of the spirit to the sword is simply using the bones in the process of making the blade. Vikings used to do this, and it's thought that it helped make an early version of steel, which was stronger than the Iron that was available at the time. And that's your fun fact of the day!
As always, thoughts and feedback are appreciated!
Script: here! (AO3)
