This is a repost of a script I posted a couple of months ago.

In this script, the speaker uses her mind control powers to move in with another woman and to control both her and her fiancé. As I picture it, there are three levels of sound.

The first is an almost subliminal ambient drone. It can be low humming, a pulsing or an electronic sound. It should be very quiet, almost too quiet to be heard, but still present. It runs throughout the recording, fading in before the first words and fading out after the last words.

The second are the very quiet words written like <… this…>. These are the thoughts being projected by the speaker, using her mind control powers. They should be very quiet, again hardly audible, almost whispered. Some reverb or echo would also help. They should have an ethereal quality, so that they do not clash with the spoken dialogue.

The third are the words of the script, spoken by the narrator to her victim. With one noted exception, the words should be quiet, at times, almost hypnotic. I’ve repeated certain phrases and passages to try to give the words a kind of hypnotic effect.

The timing and content of the <….> layer is subject to improv. The idea is show how the subliminal control is influencing the listener.

[back to Ashley] He’s early. Guess he can’t wait to fuck me. Again.

What? He’s your fiancé? I know… but you said you didn’t mind, right? Ashley?

Look… I can see you’re a little jealous. But there’s no need. After all, he’s your fiancé, right? Not mine… Steve and I… we’re just fucking. That’s ok, right? Ashley?
