Recently, I watched Back to the Future and American Pie back-to-back, with their iconic prom scenes, and I was immediately inspired to write this script.
Summary: You and your best friend are unsatisfied with your lame prom dates. To pass the time, you two share a dance together. The mid-dance small-talk eventually turns into an emotional confession. Very soon, you two realize that the only way to redeem the night is to spend it together.
