General information: Through the years your king has often entrusted you with protecting not only his kingdom but also his only child, the princess. But he has a mission that you must go on and you are his veteran knight and you are honor bound to serve.
The characters: You are Rowland (pronounced Roland) a handsome, war-decorated veteran knight 34-39 years old.
Princess (No exact name for Princess, let's keep it open so everyone with any name can enjoy.) :) is kind to everyone, but she will be very upset and try through her tears to command you to stay (because in truth she is and has been attracted to you for a long time, but had not said for all the usual reasons: her "inexperience/your experience, age difference, her body conscienceness, What will the nobles say?! What will father say?!")
(And in truth, you have tried to ignore you feel and how she has blossomed into a very attractive young woman, but neither you nor your hormones are blind and neither you nor your hormones are suicidal - "The king trusts you!")
The story: The king is sending you on an urgent mission in the dead of night. You are getting ready to leave the castle when you decide to see the princess to say farewell. (It's dangerous, after all! And you don't know how long you'll be gone.) She doesn't know yet that you are leaving but you are going to wish her a Happy Birthday because she technically going to be "of age" before you leave the castle.
The scene: You see that she has fallen asleep in her favorite chair near the window in her chambers while reading and is shivering from the cool air.
Before you go: Please remember your courtly manners, make sure to tuck Princess into a warm cozy blanket, and kiss her on the "crown" of her hair before you leave the castle. (Preferably after she has fallen to sleep in your arms, of course!) . . . Well, ser Rowland? Don't let her just sit there getting cold! 😅 Get a move on! 😅
