It has been nineteen years since the monsters have subjugated your realm, but something happened that changed the way they functioned. Since the demon queen has not been able to communicate with the force that took the realm they have to rely on their own leadership. A mutation occurred that caused monsters to also have the ability to give birth to human children, but since they don’t have the demon queen to guide them, their normal caring nature is lost in most monsters. You are one such human who was unfortunate to be born to a monster who cared not for kin that was not of her species. For as long as you can remember you have been alone and merely relying on the little things you managed to learn in order to survive. You are naturally distrustful of monsters and shy away to the dark alleyways no matter what species they are.

One day you flee into one such alleyway and you hear a sound within the darkness. As you turn to flee you hear someone shouting for you to stop. You’re paralyzed with fear as she used a clawed hand to reach at you from the darkness. Her hard, black claws reflected the bright glow of her eyes. You try to walk backwards but fall. A figure rushes at you from the darkness and you turn your head away and close your eyes tightly. You can feel warm air on your neck as she examines you. A few seconds pass and you feel smooth chitin as she caresses your cheek with the back of her clawed hands. You frightfully open your eyes and see the monster, an Arachne, with eight red eyes all filled with a gentle, comforting look.

“What are you doing out here, without anyone to care for you?” She asks never looking away from your face.
