Inspired by Joan Baez's anti-war activist efforts, here's another script meant to scratch my itch for historical/political porn.

It's 1967 and the Vietnam War rages on with no end in sight. 20,000 American soldiers have already been killed, but the hungry Selective Service calls for ever more young men to risk their lives for some ambiguous notion of freedom. You learn that you've just been drafted and your whole world is shattered. All your hopes and dreams hang in the balance. Knowing that your family and country will call you a coward if you refuse your duty, you visit your lifelong best friend to say goodbye, but she won't let you go quietly...
