I am a writer, not a performer, but I wanted to show my appreciation for the ladies of GWA. This was my first attempt at audio recording since the Bush administration. (It was also the most romantic words I've said since the Bush administration, although that does not mean it is terribly romantic.) It took me seven takes to get it. The first one was a completely flat monotone (even by the standards of my male-Daria voice), the next four were ruined by me fucking the script up, and #6 was ruined by background noise.
Also, since I'm a writer, not a performer, here's the script I had to write for a two-minute audio.
