She’s just giving you a hard time. A couple of drinks and some old “war” stories later, the two of you are like old pals. And what do old pals do? They have quickies in the alley beside their guild, of course.

Soldiering: the only profession where you get paid to wear a sword and fuck your comrades. I’ve never been a soldier, but I’ve been dear friends with a few, and they all tell me the same thing: when push comes to shove, you always end up being pushed into shoving things up your bum. I suppose things get real lonely out there on the road.

There was this one hobgoblin I knew, Hrognak. Most disciplined, competent goblinoid I’ve ever met, and actually knew a thing or two about tactics. Even polished his sword every day (no, his actual sword, you perverts). But, after a day of marching Hrognak loved nothing more than putting on his elven dress and having a dance with whoever had enough energy to bust a move.

And you know what? Nobody thought Hrognak was a bad guy. Well, the good guys thought he was a bad guy, but his friends? Nothing but praise for Hrognak “the Handsome Hobgoblin.” Last I heard he was still posing for “Villains of the Sword Coast Annual,” his grinning, handsome visage adorning the walls of crypts and caves next to such illustrious personalities as “Balgezor the Bikini Devil” and “Sister Jaila the Fallen (Don’t Look, or you Might Fall too!)”

Did you know that this month’s centerfold is called “the Dead Three’s Dance Party?” Apparently the top clerics and blackguards from the Dead Three’s faiths got together for a portrait that is sure to titillate. I dearly hope the guards let me have my issue, even if they intend to simply use it as another reason to extend my sentence.
