Summary:

Dark elves. Cruel raiders. Drow. Your people have long feared the depredations of these folk from the world below, but for all your life you have assumed they were little more than myth. Then, a few nights ago, they paid a “visit” to your village. Your home burned and your limbs shackled, you were led away from the surface to the darkness beneath the earth.

And now? Now you have to survive, and you really only have one thing to offer your new owner. . .

From the Goblin:

The only thing worse than an elf is a drow. Regular elves are haughty and stink funny, but at least they aren’t going around putting good folk like myself in shackles. While a good pair of irons is something any proper goblin can appreciate, they really do look better on dwarves. Or gnomes: stupid gnomes!

You know, I was once in the employ of a drow, some fellow named “the Spider” or something stupid. We were holed up in this old, lost mine for months, and all he had me do was write him stories about how drow women were stupid and stuff. This one time, he even asked that I write a story about him and his “massive, implacable and magnificent” manhood. Guy had issues if you ask me.

Now that I think about it, I kind of miss my days in the lost mine. I even wrote this story (which the Spider would have totally hated) while I was in there. Pete the flameskull loved this one, let me tell you: between you and me, I think Pete was actually a drow matriarch in a past life.

Sadly, adventurers came and shut down the whole operation after a while. The Spider lost his head, I wet my pants, and old Pete was smashed to pieces by a dwarf with a very large hammer. Stupid adventurers.

In honor of Pete, I give you a tale in the traditional Drow style: man below, woman on top!
