You weren’t expecting this type of crowd to show up at the masquerade, let alone at this meet and greet they held prior to. If everyone was wearing masks, then what was the point of having this, you wondered. Suddenly, a beautiful woman snaps you out of your haze, sharing in your disinterest and discomfort of the ever-growing crowd. She makes small talk with you, before offering a reason for you to get away from the crowd and have some peace and quiet.
Once the two of you were alone, however, well… there was still plenty of time before the main event, so surely no one would suspect you two had slipped away, right?
