:takes a deep breath: Well, I did it – my first script is ready, and honestly, I'm feeling that tingly blend of eagerness and apprehension to share this with you all. They say write what you know, and as a sufferer of astraphobia this scenerio hits close to home as a desired coping mechanism.
Summary: During a thunderstorm your partner wakes up to find you suffering from the affects of astraphobia and decides to find a way to take your mind off your fear and refocus it on him.
VAs, please feel free to bring your own touch to the script; I trust your instincts. Rain and thunder sound effects are key to the scene, but feel free to play around with the other SFX as you see fit. As it's my first script, I'd cherish any feedback you have—it'll help me learn and improve. I want to write scripts that are as much of a pleasure to read that it is for the Listener to hear.
