Speakers background:

More primal and animalistic than their own civilised ways, wood elf culture is a mystery to their elven cousins and humans alike. They are in touch with their bestial natures and still have distinct mating seasons which dominate all activities for certain parts of the year.

For this all-female tribe, the Pact ensures that the unproven girls are kept isolated from the outside world until they are deemed worthy. Mating season can be an especially dangerous time for outsiders, and the Pact makes it clear that males are not to enter the forest during this time under any circumstances.

The Pact is all Sasha and Therolina have ever known and both have only heard stories about males out there in the outside world. Both want to obey the rules and their mother's teachings, but neither quite realise just how strong their urges can get...

Listener background:

You are a stranger to these parts. You have travelled a long way from your homeland in pursuit of the rare beasts you seek. You are a hunter and in search of the most exotic and valuable pelts to sell back home. You've heard of the wood elves but have never come across one in your travels. They're not something with which you've ever concerned yourself. You have no idea about the Pact or whose is the forest that you've just walked into...

Oh boy, this was my longest one in a while. This is actually my first script with multiple speakers since I wrote Succubus Bar and it's actually only the third one I've written. The problem I usually find is that I end up having the characters talk too much amongst themselves while ignoring the listener and I admit that that could be a problem here also.

I've tried some new things and some different formatting with this one. I added in quite a few more notes and stage directions than usual and I'm not sure if it might be a bit distracting. I'm also not sure if I like the new format. Does using more types of parentheses make it easier to follow or more confusing? Let me know what you think.
