S: "And the Southern girls, with the way they talk, they knock me out when I'm down there."

M: "The Midwest farmers daughters really make me feel all right."

N: "And the Northern girls with the way they kiss, they keep their boyfriends warm at night."

E: All of which is well and good. But THEN you follow it up by saying--

M: You wish we all could be California girls?!

S: Well, this just ain't acceptable!

E: So I think what YOU should do is just stop right there, rethink what you've been saying, and let this East Coast girl--

S: This Southern girl!

M: This fine Midwestern girl.

N: And this Northern girl--

E: --make the case about why we're the best girls in America!

A very tongue-in-cheek script based on the Beach Boys song "California Girls" that declares California girls to be the most beautiful in America and the world. The American girls of the East Coast, the South, the North and the Midwest object to this, and each want to make a case for why they’re actually the hottest.

They're not going to make it an easy choice.

Is this one of my most unusual inspirations yet? Maybe, but I hope you'll enjoy this little anthology of fantasies. As multi-performer scripts go, this should be relatively easy to perform, as there's only two segments where all the cast are talking, and then five evocative scenarios spun by each of our all-American girls. In either case, enjoy my probable last script of this year!
