I've wanted to do a Warhammer 40,000 script for ages, and this has been a work in progress for a while. But with news that a Warhammer TV series/movie is now definitely in the works, this seemed like the right time to unleash this upon the world (Imperium). As it is set in the 'Grim Dark' universe of the 41st millennium, please read all the tags carefully. if there is anything you find distasteful or even triggering, then please do not read.

Synopsis: A battle sister of the Adepta Sororitas encounters a demon of the chaos god Slannesh, and faith is tested as the Lord of Excess threaten to corrupt her mind, body and soul.

I admit that this script is a little heavy on the SFX, and that if you're not into Warhammer if may not be that accessible to you. But as I said, I've wanted to a script like this for ages, so I'm hoping there might be a VA out there to tackle it. If you're not familiar with some of the vernacular of Warhammer here is a guide to pronunciations. If you have any questions on the script, I'd be happy to answer them.

Slaanesh = Sla-nesh
Adepta = Ah-dep-ta
Sororitas = Soar-roar-ree-taas.
Kaleria = Kal-er-ee-ah

<Another noise, closer now>

[Calls out] Or is it games you play? Do you think you can torment me?

[Calls out boldly] I am Sister Kaleria of the Adepta Sororitas, Order of the Divine Thorn. Come out and face me. I promise I will make your end swift. Test me, and I will ensure you suffer in the cleansing flame of our holy righteousness.

<Sound from different direction>
<Heavy calibre gunfire> [as you opens fire]

[Over Comms] Anyone in the Sisterhood receiving my signal, I have seen the enemy, glimpsed it in the darkness. And my sisters, it is no mere mutant… but a demon.

[Over Comms] A depraved abomination, a hideous amalgamation of man, woman and beast. Cloven hooved, with horns and a tail. Naked, displaying its profane form.

<Another noise, even closer and from a different direction>

<More gun fire>

[Over Comms] I believe that this fiend… is a servant of Slaanesh, the lord of excess. A demon of pain and pleasure. But it matters not. My boltgun will send this creature of lust back to the perverted darkness from whence it came.
