A silly little Dungeons & Dragons - themed script for you all.
Synopsis: You have some downtime between quest contracts, and your adventuring party's artificer has been using it to develop some new inventions she thinks will be helpful for your quests. She asks you, the party barbarian, for help testing out a new prototype interrogation device, but it doesn't go entirely according to plan.
Word count: 1268 words including directions
Character notes: Speaker is an easily excited artificer (someone who creates magic-infused items). Very enthusiastic about her work, a bit frantic, and has a bit of a superiority complex because of her arcane knowledge. Listener is a big, muscly barbarian (someone who Hit Thing Good).
Inclusivity notes: No genital descriptors for speaker or listener. Listener is described as large and muscular.
Sound Effects and Improv: All sound effects optional, but I think they're helpful to set the scene. A bit of improv or rephrasing to help your reading feel more natural to you is welcome.
Copyright/Disclaimer: This script is written by someone over 18 years of age, for consumption by people over 18 years of age, and all characters in the script are consenting adults over 18 years of age. All rights to this script are reserved by the author, with the exception that rights are granted to record the script and freely post it as long as the person who makes the recording doesn't charge money for access to it.
Also, feel free to do a gender-flipped version if you want.
