I always loved visiting this isolated little guest cabin when I was a girl, and I was so sad to see it had been neglected. But you...wow, I can’t believe this. You fixed the place up, just as a surprise for me!
Aww, you’ll make me blush! Yeah, it is a good way to pay me back for helping the town out! But I’d have done it for free, you know!
(laugh) Yeah, I guess I DID catch a bit of the Christmas spirit!
The only thing that didn’t work out all right, is us getting snowed in like this after we arrived! On Christmas Eve of all days!
You don’t mind being here? Being stuck with me?
Okay. Good to hear. And I’ve got to admit...if we have to be trapped somewhere, this isn’t so bad.
And it feels good to just...enjoy some quiet, right?
Just the two of us, no distractions, nobody else needing help to save their Christmas.
It's hard to believe that just a week ago, you were a driven, humourless and happily single career woman with no time for silly things like Christmas cheer. But ever since you returned to your small-town home, met your cute childhood crush (who is also a single father), saved the town’s Christmas festival, reunited with your estranged dad, solved the mystery of the missing presents for the orphanage and helped an old man who may or may not secretly be Santa...you’ve found yourself snowed in with your old flame, in a cosy log cabin on Christmas Eve.
Wherever could this be leading?

My parents have an annual tradition of a marathon of Hallmark Christmas movies in December, so you can thank them for this one! Wishing you all a good festive season.
