Manticores tend to be very prideful monsters, so prideful that they often show little to no affection outside of the privacy of their homes. In fact, even in there homes it can take some time to actually convey their true emotions to their partner. However, not every monster is the same and that’s why the manticore in your class is something that is referred to as a “Cuddlecore.” They are the exact opposite of a normal manticore in terms of personality. They love to show affection even in public, they have very little sense of pride, and they don’t really care who sees them with their prey.

That being said, they can be even more dangerous than a normal manticore. A normal manticore likes to make their hunt appear worthwhile if they do it in public, otherwise they prefer to sneak about and overpower their prey with their spines and tail. Cuddlecores don’t really care how they are seen and as a result can and will take any opportunity they come across in order to wrap their fluffy paws around their beloved.

In bed they are absolutely insatiable. Physical contact is akin to sexual pleasure to them no matter the context meaning cuddling is an act of lust and desire. That, however, is not the part that makes them insatiable. What makes them insatiable is that this mindset makes using their tail equal to normal cuddling. This means it’s not uncommon for their tail to be attached to her husband for long periods of time even if the tail itself isn’t active. Of course, their spines are still used in the same way which reduce the consequences of fatigue and overstimulation. Fortunately, they have the foresight to plan for their nature and more often than not they plan ahead to care for their husband after a long session.

Also, just because their personality doesn’t match up to the normal intimidating personality of a manticore doesn’t make them any less terrifying. This is very apparent now that you’re stuck in close quarters with one and it looks like she has her eyes on you.
