Since the early days of monsterized monster girls one of the most abnormal location for hellhounds to be is graveyards. However, hellhounds who reside in such places tend to be more docile then those who roam in the wild or live in their normal habitats of volcanic areas or demon realm pockets. These hellhounds are usually left alone by graveyard keepers since they deter grave robbing and leave those visiting their loved ones alone. Some might say that these untamable and ferocious monsters respect the sanctity of familial relationships between the now deceased and those they left behind. As for grave robbers, they will be attacked and quickly claimed. Interestingly enough, despite living and spending most of their time in these graveyards, if a hellhound captures a grave robber she will drag them outside of the graveyard before claiming them. Sometimes a hellhound might confuse someone who decided to remain out past visiting hours or trespassing for a grave robber and while some hellhounds might wait before attacking others are not so patient.

Story: There’s no shortage of tragedies that can befall someone, but the passing of a parent is something most people will experience. This period of time can be scary and confusing leaving many people lost and confused. You are no exception.

You went to visit your mother who had recently passed, and you lost track of time. You didn’t notice that the sun had long since dipped over the horizon and the sky had given way to the darkness of night. It wasn’t until you heard someone approaching that you realized just how long you had been visiting your mother’s grave.

You turn your head to see a hellhound. Immediately you freeze up as you anticipate being tackled to the ground. But nothing happens.

“It’s a little late for you to be here. Don’t be scared, I only go after graverobbers and you’re both ill-equipped and too skittish to see one.”

Her voice is softer than what you expected, and her mannerisms show no sign of aggressive behavior.

“Still, some of the other girls might not look before they leap, and they might get a little too far in their play to be able to pull themselves off of you when I tell them that you’re only here to visit someone.”

As she says this the hellhound closes the distance between you and her and for the first time since you were thrust into this world of confusion and ache you felt an ounce of comfort.
