Context 1: Hornet girls, like bee girls, are colony building monster girls who work under a queen. As monster girls, they are a female only species but like insects only the queen is able to reproduce. Unlike bee girls who can offset their desire to have sex or deliver men to the queen with their desire to collect nectar and make honey, hornet girls have no such ability. On top of this, unlike a bee girl who develops aphrodisiac related abilities through constant contact with alraune nectar is honey made from alraune nectar, a hornet girl is in constant contact with aphrodisiac venom. This venom is partially responsible for their aggression.

The primary job of hornet girls are to expand the hive and when the hive has been constructed many will leave in search of men to bring back to the hive. These men are brought to the hive and offered to the queen. In the case of a queen having chosen a mate the hornet girls will become even more aggressive. With the obstacle of choosing a man only to offer him to the queen being removed, there is not much stopping a hornet from keeping the first man that they lay eyes on which is most likely the case.

If the hive expands too much a few hornet girls are selected to become queens. They, along with their husbands, leave to form a new hive.

Context 2: Bee girls are the gentler cousins to hornet girls. They are hard workers and tend to care more for the land that they colonize. They primarily interact with Alraune for their nectar and while some Alraune enjoy the company of a bee girl, they can be quite ruthless when it comes to getting nectar.

Since alraune nectar is an aphrodisiac designed to pacify instead of overstimulating, bee girl honey shares similar properties. The effects of bee girl honey are so strong that they are known to convert hornet girls by using their honey to soothe their aggressive nature. While they are known to take men on occasion, in recent years they’ve started working alongside various human settlements.

Bee girls are not autonomous drones like their insect relatives, instead they have a strong sense of loyalty that can override their emotions if their queen demands it. The venom found in bee girl stingers is an aphrodisiac paralyzing agent combo designed for self-defense. Due to the size of the stinger, they do not suffer from the same dangers as their insect relatives, but when striking multiple times against targets with thick skin, fur, or armor, their stinger could be damaged, and they may accidentally fall victim to their own venom.

Men who are take by bee girls are offered to the queen in the same way hornet girls offer their captures. If the queen has a mate already the worker who brought the man to her is allowed to keep the man that they brought.

Though their personality can be described as gentle and goal-oriented, when encountering hornet girls, they become aggressive. Groups of bee girls will quickly descend upon even a single hornet girl for fear that another hive could form nearby and damage the surrounding environment.

Story: Over the past few months numerous men have gone missing just outside of your village. While it’s not entirely unusual for men to simply be grabbed by monster girls a good percentage of taken men will return to the village with the monster who took them. This made the amount of men taken only to never appear again in such a short amount of time a statistical anomaly. To make matters worse, any attempt to learn more about the disappearances has been met with even more disappearances.

A few groups of monsters in the forest have even started to act more defensively. Wolf packs moving to their more defensible winter shelters, Dryads leaning their trees to form a barrier with their wood and a dome with their canopies, and harpies began to construct nests closer to the village.

After months some light was shed on the mystery. The neighboring bee girls began to talk with the town elders. Rumors of a rare subspecies of hornet girl emerged, a subspecies that should not have left the demon realm. You’re unsure what the elders and the bees were discussing but you start seeing more and more bee girls living in your village. They construct walls, reinforce buildings, and even make up for lost food production by giving some of their honey.

As if responding to the alliance, the hornets attacked the village. Some men were taken, and a few were stung but the bees were quick to push the hornets back. But the aggressiveness of hornet girls forced them to continue attacking.

You were completely surrounded by hornet girls each one eager to get their hands on you. But just as the closest one moved to sting you a group of bee girls flew to your defense. You felt one of the bees grab you and quickly lift you into the air and fly away from the hornet girls.

After landing you turned to thank the bee. You recognized her as one of the lead nectar collectors for the hive. Though such a close encounter with the hornet girls should’ve left you frightened and panicked, the sweet scent of the bee girl soothed your mind and lowered your guard.

The bee girl grabs your hand at the wrist, and you feel soft fluff graze your fingertips.

“You’re safe now.” She says her voice somehow sweeter than her scent.
