When she finds you alone at the shore, well, you read the title. An oceanic adventure awaits...

Welp, I just can't seem to help myself. I had no intention of making this my new longest script, yet here we are. I just feel like all the build up is necessary. Oh well, just slap a [slow burn] tag on it and call it a day...

In many ways, this is not an easy script, but I'm hoping someone likes it enough to take on the challenge.

For context, I'm following (more or less (less)) the H2O universe of logic. Meaning, woman -> touches water -> becomes mermaid -> also gets some magic powers.

Feel free to change this script however you want. Add stuff, remove stuff, reword anything, improv, literally whatever you want. At the end of the day, all the text, all the direction, commentary, and sfx simply serves to paint a picture of what I'm imagining in my head. You just do you.

REGARDING SFX: Alright, this one's a doozy. The main thing here, to sell the setting, is splashing, water noises, and ambiance. I've written specific cues for sound, and I've provided links to sounds you can use (some from me 😲). The number in the tag corresponds to the list at the start. You do not need to use them, they are simply a resource to make your life easier. The "ambiance" effects should help all the others blend together. You do not need to do any SFX at all, really, but there are several points where a sound effect signals some action. If you're going that route, try to ad lib something in place of that signal. Also, there are a few important notes at the start.
