Context: Among the elite in the monster dominated society lies a select few monsters who see themselves as “Matchmakers.” These matchmakers find certain humans and monsters in order to use them for entertainment. The show is simple, a monster is tasked with hunting down a human as if it were the era before modern civilization. Matchmaker has become popular among the monster community due to it appealing to the more aggressive monsters and has even resulted in monsters who normally are unable to control themselves having more self-control as the show acts like an outlet for their aggression. Because of this, the Demon Queen has turned her head away from the parts of the show that break certain rules, specifically rules regarding the abduction of humans without the intention to mate with them personally, since the pros heavily outweigh any cons.

With the support of a few Lilims and even some human government officials, it isn’t uncommon for humans to suddenly vanish overnight to appear in the show the next day. Though the monsters in charge claim that it is possible for a human to escape no human has ever been able to get away from the monster and with the second season of the show having revamped the hunting ground to allow monsters like hellhounds and Minotaurs to show off their full potential without causing damage it seems like the odds are tipped heavily in favor of the monsters.

Story: You don’t remember how you got here. You just remember falling asleep and waking up in a grassy field surrounded by trees. Above you, you see a thunderbird with a camera in her talons. You look around and you can see that she isn’t the only one, it seems that you’re being watched from every direction.

As you stand, you hear a voice come from nowhere that seems to fill the entire forest.

“Welcome to the season 2 premiere of Matchmaker, and my degenerate humans and vicious monsters, we have ourselves a very special show for you tonight.”

A chill runs down your spine, you know the show and you know that you don’t have much time. Now waiting any longer, you run into the forest.

And not if, but when, they have you pinned down you better believe you’re going to have trouble walking ever again.

These girls can chase a human to the end of the Earth and back again. Their scent is unmatched, and their strength is even more impressive. I almost feel bad for our human here.
