I am a few months into playing golf and looking to book some lessons in. From your own experience what is the optimum time for an effective lesson. Initially I thought 1 hour would be perfect but I also appreciate there is only so much you can be taught before you need to spend time putting it into practice on the range. Thus maybe a 30 min lesson followed by time on the range by myself might be a better and more cost effective way as I get to maximise the amount of time I am being coached rather then be watched.
Any assistance greatly appreciated
