$5,700 in new money ... I’ll post a breakdown when I’m human again. Aka I’m hungover from celebrating this install.
Yea the wedge game is the only thing that gets me nervous. I hit my 58 at the very top of the screen and it is somewhat of a mindf**k.
Winter league for the win!!!
Too anxious to do anything last night. Will be getting the projector mounted, creating a permanent “housing@ for electronics etc., and installing putting surface (as well as other improvements) might head to check out greens today. Although I’m in rough shape after breaking this thing in last night ... See: too much beer and too many shots. Worth it.
Yea I’m working on a design to have a one click system to move from tee to grass. Will cut a metal sleeve and weld everything together on a ball bearing track with a simple lock system. At least that’s my first thought. Still brainstorming there.
Def a nice device for the price. I’ll eventually upgrade ... but wanted to start a lower price point to know what hiccups to avoid when I spend the big bucks. I’ve already got a few people interested in having a system installed in their homes as well, so could turn into a pretty sweet weekend gig.
I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve for putting. Thinking about making the area useable as putting practice outside of the simulator. Think cups in front of screen and cups at back of tee area.
My don’t have my new to old calculator handy. Must search.
Everything was ordered from Skytrak. This is the simulator series net.
Loving it so far. Carry is fairly close so far, reporting a touch short. I need to adjust the height and make sure I’ve got all my ducks in a row. Putting I haven’t been able to get a true read yet, as I haven’t finished installing the surface. Heading to look at samples soon so I can get a better feel for how I want to finish the turf out.
Right now using a new surface, but will be picking up a dedicated all in one computer soon. Either that or repurposing one of my CPU’s that are collecting dust.
The net return simulator series. Thanks it’s been a blast these first few days. Although my hands hurt as I had a club fitting Thursday AND today, on top of playing with this bad boy since Friday evening.
We’ve been talking about what are the next steps/items needed. Another net has been brought up multiple times.

I literally pulled the side nets and thought it was huge progress. Also ... I had shots. And beers.
Did I mention there was shots?
