My last round was two weeks ago. Played solo, had the urge that morning to go to the beach but decided to stick to my plan from the night before to golf. Sucked. All day. Hated the round. But I had one shot on a par 3 after shanking my tee shot. Landed 50-60 yards out under a tree but needed to carry a green-side bunker. Took my 55 & GW over to the spot, sized it up, decided the 55 was the way to clear the bunker without hitting the tree. Somehow did both of those while also spinning the ball to stay on the slim front to back green.
Two putt for bogey but the moment of deciding on shot selection and execution and trust in myself in a round I did not feel like myself at was awesome.
