Torrential downfall on the way to meet my buddies to carpool to our round. 1:20 wait because the course had an inch and a half of rain in an hour. Breakfast, the Open, no worries. Started off great. Then the rails were no longer visible. Played some great shots. Scored like shit. Normally I’m high 70’s mid 80’s. Shot a 94. Final hole sums it up. Short par 4. I nut a drive 40 yards from green. Hit into the side of the bunker. Make it out barely, struggle for bogey. Golf is hard. It sucks. I suck. Can’t wait for my next round.
