My current irons are 10 plus years old, and were given to me. Iām improving my swing and game A LOT this year and Iām thinking about upgrading over the winter. Will spending the extra money to get fitted be worth it?
I am a firm believer that the clubs donāt make the player to a certain extent. My current clubs are great, just want something new.
Where did you find that at?? I canāt find much on the clubs online. To be honest I donāt even know what most of that stuff means. The shafts are true temper steel, I believe they are stiff flex but I canāt tell. I have come to the conclusion that new grips and new shafts are probably the better route right now, until I get better.
Damn you are well adverse at this subject. Thanks for the knowledge!
Iāve been swinging clubs my whole life from 6-7 years old hitting balls into the field behind my house. Now, 26 years old. Only in the last 3 years have I really started playing consistently. I play at least one round a week. With the range here and the on top of that. This year I have been really focusing on improving and figuring out my swing mechanic. And I have seen major improvements. Like Iām actually really impressed with myself.
From what I gathered, I think getting my current clubs fitted to me specifically with new shafts and grips is going to be a cheaper option, and still accomplish the same āgame improvementā Iām looking for from getting a set of new fitted clubs.
Iām going in 3 hours! Best of luck!š¤
Could also add extensions to the grips to get some extra length for an affordable price, not sure if that will help or not. Iām no expert.
Mine our Adamās golf tight lies uc10. I believe from 2006-2008. Still have the original grips on them. They have been great clubs for me.

Yes, no doubt will be the case.
