I have an old set (2x) of sm4’s that are collecting dust in my garage, along with an old 2000 Scotty Cameron studio design putter, that I considered cutting down the shaft and putting kids sized grips on for my 3yo son to mess around with while dad is practicing short game stuff.
I know that the clubs will be substantially heavier than your standard kids club, and I will buy him actual youth clubs when he’s older and taller. For now these get him away from the dinky plastic baby clubs that he just rips apart and these will also look like daddy’s clubs and aren’t taller than him as well.
I don’t expect him to be taking full swings with these cutdown wedges, but maybe if he does learn how he’ll be the next Bryson Dechambeau smacking balls 300 yards with a 52 wedge because all that training as a kid? 😂
